Now What?

Now what??
After all that now what??
What happens now??

Many years ago a kid in our youth group gave me a bracelet, little plastic beads on an elastic string.  The beads were four letters; WWJD; it stood for “What Would Jesus Do?”.  Its cute, trite but cute; I hung it on my rear-view mirror in my truck.  Bad idea.  My wife would simply point at it during those times I vocally questioned the intelligence of other drivers.  Or, when she wasn’t there, it would swing against the mirror at the oddest times, making just enough noise to draw my attention.  Yes it was trite, maybe even a little juvenile, but more than once it drove a stake through my heart … still does, and the bracelet is long gone.

So now what?? What of the body … His body … ??
Who really is the head of the body?? … and what would He do??

As Christians we exist to glorify God, we are here to point to Him, make Him known, make Him famous; where we are, where we go, in what we do and what we say.  The world should see Him in us, they will know is by our love  (John 13:35).  According to John 17, they will know Him by our unity, our love for each other.
“”The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one,  I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.””
— John 17:22‭-‬23 ESV**

we are one, “so that the world may know” …

So … now what??

Would you rather be right … or reconciled??

… or maybe I should just butt out …
